Entry through an official port with prior arrangement
A yacht arriving from a foreign port should clear at an official port of entry where Customs and General Security attend — in practice Jounieh for most visiting yachts, with Beirut and Tripoli operating as commercial entry ports. Communicate the ETA about 24 hours ahead and plan the arrival for daylight.
Advance naval permission
Before entering Lebanese territorial waters, a vessel must obtain permission from the Lebanese naval authorities and state its destination. Every later arrival and departure within Lebanon must also be notified in advance.
Passports and visas
